math	June 8- Today we revisited money and tally marks. The children tossed coins and tallied the number of times they got heads or tails. Please continue reviewing money at home.
reading	June 8- Initial Yy and Zz were introduced today.
language arts	May 26- Today we learned the difference between a note and a card. The children wrote a note to a family member.
spelling	High-Frequency Words - Please review the red words the, a, my, that, and, I, is, said, we, are, you, have, to, me, go, do, for, he, she, has, with, was, see. The children should practice using , spelling and writing the words. It is important for your child to use the words in complete sentences.
other	June 8 - Science - The ocean unit was introduced today. June 7 -Social Studies - We learned about the mountains and the animals that live there. May 16- Art - The children enjoyed creating foolish faces with their friends.
